This year over 200,000 children experienced Life Education for the first time.
With eleven new mobile classrooms in service, we will now be able to reach more than 850,000 children, about one sixth of the primary school population. We completed a two-year, £750,000 investment in updating all of our primary school programmes and these have already been delivered in over half of the schools where we work.
With effective use of volunteers, it is estimated that across the organisation as a whole, up to 93 per cent of income is spent on direct charitable services, making Life Education one of the most financially efficient charities in the country.
